…we must re-index our relationships to each other around shared resources and systems rather than around political ideologies. New maps must make the overlapping communities and regions created around things like watersheds, trade systems, infrastructures, and diseases, and their relationship to each other, more apparent, allowing us to understand the world in more than pink and yellow terms.
